Housemaids, drivers to be recruited from Ethiopia JEDDAH: Drivers and housemaids are to be recruited from Ethiopia within the next two months at monthly salaries of SR700 and SR800 respectively, Al-Watan newspaper reported. Saad Al-Baddah, chairman of the National Commission for Recruitment (NCR) at the Council of Saudi Cham-bers of Commerce, said the NCR has finally signed a deal to recruit manpower from the east African nation. Following a series of meetings over a span of six months, an agreement to this effect was signed with the Ethiopian Federation of Manpower Recruitment at NCR headquarters in Riyadh on Wednesday. Al-Baddah said monthly salaries for Ethiopians working in other sectors would be decided according to their professions and work experience.
