Boycott Israel News: [Boycott - Other News] Socialists unite with Zionists against Palestine Demo

Boycott Israel News: [Boycott - Other News] Socialists unite with Zionists against Palestine Demo This years annual Al-Quds Day demonstration in support of the oppressed peoples of Palestine was opposed by an organised counter-demonstration. We didn't think anything special of it as we are used to zionists attacking our demos and take such attacks in our stride as part of the price for standing up for justice. During one demonstration an elderly rabbi, one of our speakers, was punched in the face by a zionist right in front of the police. At another demo, the family of one of our activists was targeted at home whilst the activist was at the demo. Apart from the zionists, the IHRC has also been the target of many far right groups including receiving death threats through the post from Combat 18, the "armed wing" of the British neo-Nazi organization Blood & Honour. But what was so surprising and sad about this counter-demo was that it was an alliance of f

He said he personally asked “what tools” were available to use on him, and sought legal approval for waterboarding him: BUSH: One such person who gave us information was Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. … And I’m in the Oval Office and I am told that we have captured Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the professionals believe he has information necessary to secure the country. The Humiliation of America : Information Clearing House - ICH : "“Early Friday morning the secretary of state was considering bringing the cease-fire resolution to a UNSC vote and we didn’t want her to vote for it.” Olmert said. “I said ‘get President Bush on the phone.’ They tried and told me he was in the middle of a lecture in Philadelphia. I said ‘I’m not interested, I need to speak to him now.’ He got down from the podium, went out and took the phone call.” “Let me see if I understand this,” wrote a friend in response to news reports that Israeli Prime Minister Olmert ordered President Bush from the podium where he was giving a speech to receive Israel’s instructions about how the United States had to vote on the UN resolution. “On September 11th, President Bush is interrupted while reading a story to school children and told the World Trade Center had been hit--and he went on reading. Obama's Pro-Israel Congressional Welcome              : Information Clearing House - ICH

Obama's Pro-Israel Congressional Welcome : Information Clearing House - ICH : "Israel is using the two arsenals it is most comfortable with - military force to kill, injure, terrorize and displace thousands of Palestinian civilians; and the equivalent political overkill to bludgeon the American political establishment into total submission. After six decades of trying, Israel has been unable to turn Palestinians into vassals and subservient slaves - but it has succeeded in transforming an otherwise impressive American political governance system into a herd of castrated cattle who cower before the threats that Israel's Washington-based henchmen and hit men direct at them. Gaza will get its ceasefire soon, but will Washington ever find relief from the stranglehold of Israel's political thugs?"

Lieberman: Do to Hamas what the US did to Japan | Israel | Jerusalem Post : "'We must continue to fight Hamas just like the United States did with the Japanese in World War II,' Lieberman added. 'Then, too, the occupation of the country was unnecessary.' In 1945, Japan unconditionally surrendered to the US following two atomic bomb attacks on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. A ground invasion of mainland Japan had been prepared at the time, but was avoided due to the Japanese capitulation after the bombings."

Israeli media: 2 rockets fall in northern Israel :: www.uruknet.info :: informazione dall'Iraq occupato :: news from occupied Iraq :: - it JERUSALEM: Media reports say two rockets have fallen on northern Israel in an attack that could signal a second front in Israel's 19-day offensive against Gaza's Hamas rulers. Security officials in Israel could not immediately confirm the media reports. Four rockets were fired on northern Israel last Thursday. Lebanon's Hezbollah guerrilla group denied responsibility and speculation focused on small Palestinian groups in Lebanon.
