"Giuliani Advisor: Raze Palestinian Villages" by Ken Silverstein (Harper's Magazine)

I was watching 60 minutes on CBS about the “Jihadists” websites today. It is basically how alqaida or “Islamic Terrorists” recruit the very young to kill “people of the West” (may be they didn’t say that exactly) but when they talked about Iraq and Afghanistan, we know exactly what they meant by. There is a new phenomenon in Islamic world; the youth is alienated by the West as a terrorist, by its own government as a trouble maker and by extremist groups as a prey to suicide mission. That phenomenon is to kill “others” who are oppressing Muslims through direct and in direct means. The extremists have many weapons to make one emotionally charged youth into a killing machine. Invasion and occupation of indigenous Muslim land by foreigners; humiliation and abuse by those invaders; and then expelling them out of their land for their resources to name a few. But it is much more complicated than that. But the major point of I wanted to mention here are: the double standard the West is taking when it comes to Palestine occupation by Zionists. The rejection of Islamic culture in any form or shape in the West, association of Islam with terror religion and Muhammad as the “movements” leader, and the support despots of the region gets mostly from the U.S. to stay in power to suppress Muslims from making its resources the base to development rather than amassing personal wealth. Those are few but major point’s people and governments in the West willfully ignored. The next stage to the young man of the region therefore is to participate in the culture of bomb strapping on ones body to trigger it as to kill the perceived enemy in which overwhelmingly the innocents gets slaughtered.
60 minutes jumped to the websites the extremist run without giving a background to it. So what is the purpose of the show? The purpose of the show is to let the audience know the enemy is clearly not interested in anything but killing for the sake of killing.
The media in the West joined the war in Islam long before America attacked by Osama. Osama is just a face they wanted Islam to be associated with. I am sure that if the U.S. wanted to kill him (Osama) it could do so but it chose not to. Invading countries to capture one man has never heard of before these madmen in Washington have done so. These people are terrorists. They have killed hundreds of times what a small time terrorist has killed. George Bush is the head of that terrorist camp in Washington. He spent hundreds of billions of dollars to kill, maim and destroy. What else can it be? Osama and George are the small and big time terrorists who feed of each other. The media they run or supporting them blinding the young human bomber as well as American troops into committing mass murder. The internet they worry so much about “Jihadists” recruiting the next human bomber is much exaggerated of course. The internet can be shut down in one second and it is being done all the time. I am not sure what the fuss is all about except to diverse American real problem, that is help solve the problem of the Middle East in un biased way.
