Democrats Put Blank Checks Back on Table: "In the next two weeks, Democratic leadership in Congress will likely push for a huge, multi-department 'omnibus' spending bill which may include funding for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. None of the omnibus proposals raised so far have included deadlines for troop withdrawal, igniting strong opposition from progressives in the House."
