allAfrica.com: Somalia: Ethiopian Troops Withdraw From Border Town (Page 1 of 1): "Beledweyn — More Ethiopian troops have withdrawn from Kalaber Village about 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of Beledweyn, the regional capital of Hiiran region in central Somalia, eyewitnesses told Shabelle radio on Friday.

The Ethiopian troops have been in the region for the last three weeks and the residents have expressed concern about the presence of the Ethiopian troops in the region.

Locals say the Ethiopian troops with more military trucks left from the region heading to the border between the two countries.

The Ethiopian soldiers hijacked more Somali, civilian trucks and killed civilians during their presence in the region.

Ethiopia pulled out its troops from Somalia last month as a part of an agreement between the Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somalia and the transitional government. But residents and clan elders said that the Ethiopian troops have re-entered Somalia, which Ethiopia denied strongly."
